It’s the first day of school for Prince George and Princess Charlotte!
The royal kids, 6 and 4, will be attending the same school for the first time and the pair headed to their first day holding hands with their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The family was greeted at Thomas’s Battersea by the head teacher of the lower school, Helen Haslem.
William reportedly remarked during the greeting that Charlotte was “very excited” about her first day.
“We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided that Princess Charlotte will join her elder brother, Prince George, at Thomas’s Battersea. We greatly look forward to welcoming her and all of our new pupils to the school,” the school’s headmaster, Simon O’Malley, said in a statement earlier this year.
The children will be known as George and Charlotte Cambridge while at school, which costs $23,000 a year, according to reports. Haslem also greeted George when he first started at the school in 2017.
