The owner of the New England Patriots has been charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution.
Investigators said that surveillance footage captured Kraft allegedly receiving sexual services. Kraft is not accused of or charged with human trafficking.
The spa had been under police surveillance in connection with an investigation into a human trafficking ring, and police say that hundreds of arrest warrants have been issued as part of the probe in recent days.
Jupiter Police Chief Daniel Kerr told reporters that he was shocked to learn Kraft had frequented the spa. "We are as equally stunned as everyone else," Kerr said.
Kraft, who owns a home near the spa in question, denies any allegations of wrongdoing.
“We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity," a spokesperson for Kraft said. "Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further."
