Racers Scooch, Slide and Glide to Victory In Office Chair Grand Prix
On your mark, get set, roll! Would-be champions took their office chairs out for a spin in Hanyu, Japan, in the office chair grand prix. Started 10 years ago, the races featuring humble office furniture have become wildly popular. Racers in teams of three compete to see how many laps they can do around a 200-meter track. It's no marathon, but it's no easy feat either: Many of the racers were exhausted, and a few took a spill going around the track's tight curves on those tiny plastic wheels.
