Olympic Hopeful Hugs Hero Who Rescued Her From Pit Bull Attack
An Olympic hopeful survived a savage dog attack. “I'm bleeding everywhere,” Caitlin Keen said in a frantic 911 call. “I was running and a pit bull off its leash jumped right on me and it bit me!” The long-distance runner had just qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials. She was training on a path in Fort Worth, Texas, when she says a pit bull lunged at her, sinking its teeth into her arms and back. Tyler Caviness was walking his own dogs when he saw what was happening and intervened.
