Garbage Pail Kids Artist Reimagines Iconic Character for Valentine's Day
Kids growing up in the 1980s couldn't get enough of the Garbage Pail Kids trading cards, which could be found in almost every convenience store in the country. The cards parodied the popular Cabbage Patch Kids dolls, adding a gross or violent twist that got the cards banned from some schools. From Snotwich Sandra to Blasted Billy, the kids on the cards were often shown in grotesque poses. Joe Simko, a Garbage Pail Kids artist, is reimagining the iconic Adam Bomb character for Valentine's Day.
