Harry was a surprise last-minute addition as he's on baby watch with his wife, Meghan Markle, due any day now with the couple's first child.
A source told People magazine that Harry was happy he was able to participate. He is “pleased he can attend today’s service, as planned,” the source said. “With their baby due, his name was not printed in the program in case he was unable to do so.”
Anzac Day is a day of remembrance that honors Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in conflict.
Prince William was down in New Zealand for the day, where he participated in his own ceremony, leaving a wreath at a monument honoring fallen soldiers.
“We will never forget the sacrifice of the Anzacs. With deep gratitude, William,” the wreath read.
Meghan is on maternity leave, pending the arrival of the royal baby.
