Did Nipsey Hussle's Killer Post a Video Confession?

Playing Nipsey Hussle’s Final Moments Reveal How Paramedics Tried to Keep Rapper Alive

A mysterious video has surfaced of a young man claiming responsibility for the shooting of rapper Nipsey Hussle.

A man took to Instagram Live and claimed to have killed the Grammy-nominated rapper in front of what he says was Nipsey's daughter Sunday afternoon in the Crenshaw neighborhood of Los Angeles.

It is not confirmed if Nipsey was killed in front of his daughter, and police are not saying if the Instagram Live video is a credible lead. Police do believe the shooting was gang-related.

Nipsey reportedly had ties to the Crips gang when he was a teenager, but in recent years, the 33-year-old had been vocal about ending gang violence in his neighborhood.

Paramedics worked frantically to keep the rapper alive Sunday after they were called to the scene following the shooting.

The rapper, whose real name is Ermias Asghedom, was killed outside the clothing store he owned in Crenshaw. The gunman opened fire at close range then jumped into a getaway car.

As soon as the news broke, fans gathered there and continued to show support Monday.

Just before he was killed, Nipsey tweeted Sunday morning: “Having strong enemies is a blessing.”

The message has been retweeted more than 149,000 times.
