Colbert's non-stop Trump jokes are credited with vaulting The Late Show to No. 1 in the nighttime comedy wars against Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and Conan O’Brien.

Inside Edition asked the comedian if Trump will be the focus of his jokes come Emmy night.

“This is a night to celebrate television and there's no bigger star on television in the last year than Donald Trump,” Colbert joked. "If the president has any subjects he would like for me to joke about in the monologue, please, we are ready to celebrate you, sir!"

On Tuesday, Colbert will join dozens of A-list celebrities, including Beyoncé and George Clooney, at the Hand-In-Hand Benefit for Hurricane Relief, which will be broadcast live on all the major TV networks.
