Two pregnant women have been seen sharing a tender embrace after a harrowing night hunkered down while Hurricane Irma raged in Florida.
Rory Keay and Isabel Andrade are due to give birth any day and suffered through the storm inside a Miami hospital over the weekend.
“Before I was telling the baby, like, ‘It's time to come out,’ and then it was like, ‘It's time to stay in,'" Keay said.
As Irma approached, the women decided to go to one of few Miami hospitals that remained open.
And they weren't alone, as up to 70 expectant moms sought refuge at Baptist Hospital over the weekend during Hurricane Irma. Nurses and hospital staff there were on call around the clock to provide help if it was needed.
“Thank God this is over," Andrade told Inside Edition. "It's such a blessing that we are fine, that everything's OK and that we're safe."
